CLIENT TESTIMONIALS

“As a small nonprofit, we could not afford a (strategic planning) consultant. [EVS advisors] had excellent insight into what we need as a small organization and mentored us accordingly. They took time to understand our organization and advised us on various aspects of managing a nonprofit organization. They followed up on all our questions and queries and connected us with appropriate resources."

Priya Gangwani, Co-Executive Director, Grassroots Projects

“(Our advisor was) an attorney with many years of experience in leadership roles as a staffer and board member with nonprofit organizations. She shared her expertise willingly and, at the same time, gave us room to pick our direction in terms of items we wanted in the bylaws. She worked in a timely manner and was very responsive. We very much appreciate the work and would eagerly work with her again.”

Sam Carpenter, Executive Director, Hoosier Environmental Council

“[The EVS advisor] was efficient and professional in all cases. [She] kept us on task, listened to our many comments, and summarized very nicely. [She also] was like a great coach: encouraging us, asking probing questions, and making us return to the drawing board when needed. We are poised to continue good work and expand our priorities because of her encouragement and big-picture thinking."

Cathy Bridge, Elizabeth B. Morse, volunteers, Mid-North Food Pantry

“EVS is like the scaffolding around a nonprofit, helping it to evolve through every stage of its development.”

Justin Phillips, CEO, Overdose Lifeline

“[EVS advisors] demonstrated a high level of expertise, patience, and leadership throughout the scope of the strategic planning sessions. [They] went above and beyond to support the team through post-meeting follow-ups and check-ins. With the facilitated strategic plan, our organization was able to better set itself up for success and utilize the road map that guided us for the next three years.”

Samantha Burke, former Executive Director, Pass the Torch for Women

“[EVS advisors] helped the organization assess its current needs and ideal future state through various activities that engaged different board and staff stakeholders. [They] both provided valuable and unique support and perspectives based on their professional backgrounds."

Yecenia Tostado, former Executive Director, Project Azul

“EVS helped facilitate an organized approach to the strategic planning discussion with a group of leaders with varying opinions. . . [The EVS advisors] were very knowledgeable about the process and needs and committed to our mission and the plan!”

Julie Petr, ED, Dress for Success

"Paying for these services would have taken from our general budget, receiving this help for free is a blessing to our organization. The coordinators worked to ask good questions, guide, and listen."
