United Way of Central Indiana names new CFO

INDIANAPOLIS – United Way of Central Indiana has announced Jennifer Gallagher will serve as its new chief financial officer.

Gallagher began the job in November and takes over part of the role previously held by Gina Miller, who left United Way in August to become the president and CEO of the Indianapolis Neighborhood Housing Partnership. Miller was United Way’s chief operating officer and chief financial officer.

Gallagher previously worked as chief financial officer at the Board of Church Extension. Before that, she served as treasurer and director of financial services at the Indiana Conference of the United Methodist Church. She is a certified public accountant and has a bachelor’s in business administration from the University of Pittsburgh with a double major in accounting and finance.
