Laying
Down the Weed Garden
Several
of the youth helping with the nature
center project, commented on just how
difficult it was to lay down the weed
guard. The wind can be a factor, and
cutting the holes for plant placement
was tedious. It was a
challenge, but also a lot of fun!
Placing
Plants
Youth learned what types of plants
could be planted in the garden, and
location. They "loved" going
to Cox's Plant Farm and spent most of
their time reading the instructions
for each plant before purchases could
be made.
