October 01, 2013  |  Matt Cooper  |  Marion

Players to wear "Live United" shirts during pre-game warmups

After breaking a lengthy losing streak at Eastern Illinois on Sunday, the IUPUI men's soccer team will have a quick turnaround when the Jaguars host Wright State in non-conference action at Michael A. Carroll Stadium on Tuesday (Oct. 1) at 7:00 p.m.. The IUPUI men's team will partner with the United Way of Central Indiana on Tuesday, with members of the team wearing LIVE UNITED t-shirts during pregame.

Admission is free and open to the public, although regular university parking rates will apply.

"I think it's very important to recognize the United Way," IUPUI Head Coach Isang Jacob said. "They play a huge role in the community and a number of our kids have benefited from the United Way. Being a member of the (IUPUI) executive committee, it's important that we do our part to honor them and help them in any way that we can."
