Creating the Spark for Our Community to Shine
It takes an entire community to make the greatest impact, but it is members of the Meridian Society who lead the community toward a place where children and families thrive, neighbors care for each other and where we are proud of the quality of life for all our residents.
The Meridian Society is an elite group of philanthropists with an annual contribution of $25,000 or more.
Meridian Society members are invited to participate in all the benefits of the Tocqueville Society in addition to their own exclusive events. Past Meridian Socity events have included:
- Reception at the home of Christel DeHaan featuring musical artist Sylvia McNair
- Small group conversation at the Governor's Mansion with then-Governor Mitch Daniels [photos]
- Private concert with author, composer and entertainer Michael Feinstein [photos]
- Discussion with new IPS Superintendant Lewis Ferebee
As our community's greatest leaders and United Way's most generous contributors, Meridian Society members have opportunities to provide input regarding United Way programs and agencies.
Meridian Society membership can be achieved through the Sarah and John Lechleiter challenge match by increasing your gift over a three-year period.
Your initial contribution and pledge grants you immediate full membership benefits.
