United Way's Oscar® Experience
Sunday, February 24, 2013 Mavris Arts and Event Center (121 S. East St.)
United Way of Central Indiana is once again hosting the only Oscar® event officially sanctioned by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences in the state! This unique fundraiser offers you a fun, exciting way to support United Way's education priority.
Last year, more than $65,000 was raised. We look forward to an even bigger and better event this time around. Each year our event committee, led by our Emerging Leaders, comes up with a creative, fun theme. This year is no different. Inspired by the movie, Water for Elephants, our Oscar night evening will be transformed into a spectacular circus-esque night with all the flourishes you expect when attending a circus. Look forward to bearded ladies, midway games, circus-inspired food and a whole host of other surprises that culminate in watching the 85th Academy Awards on multiple screens throughout the venue.
VIP tickets with the night starting at 5 p.m. - $100 (less than 20 left)
General admission with the night starting at 6 p.m. - $55
All proceeds benefit United Way's focus on education in the community.
