Any group of youth interested in applying for a grant must attend a grant workshop to receive information and a grant application. The group should have at least 2-3 youth representatives attend the workshop, in addition to an adult leader. The workshops will include suggestions for project ideas and project budgets as well as information about what board members look for in a grant proposal.

Each cycle, several grant workshops are offered at various locations in Hancock County. If your group is unable to attend a scheduled workshop, it is possible to make arrangements for an individual session by contacting the Hancock County YAR Coordinator.
