The mission of Boone County Leadership is to build a strong community by bringing together a diverse group of emerging and existing leaders to enhance their leadership skills, increase their community knowledge, and inspire commitment to serve.

2010 Grant Information

Our Youth as Resources grant cycle will be held during the 2010-2011 Boone County school year. Be sure to start planning now, as the deadline for grant applications is Friday, October 15, 2010. At this time, $10,000 will be available for distribution to youth-led community service projects.

Also, the youth/adult action board awards grants to youth groups for projects benefitting Boone County. Projects must be youth-led and meet a community need. The next round of grants will take place in fall 2010. Check out Grant Workshops to learn more.
