Community Baby Shower
Did you know one in three American parents struggle to provide essential items like diapers, wipes, formula and clothing to their newborn?
On June 21st, 22nd and 23rd, United Way of Central Indiana is celebrating new parents-to-be with a Community Baby Shower!
We’ve teamed up with United Way agencies including: Families First, Fathers & Families Center, The Salvation Army, The Villages and Volunteers of America. Our goal is to shower 100 new parents in need with essentials for their babies. Do you want to get involved? Here’s how you can help!
- Host a baby shower collection drive with your company – we’ll be collecting donations on June 21st from 7am – 1pm in the parking lot at United Way of Central Indiana
- Make a gift directly to the Community Baby Shower online registry – make a donation to purchase items like diapers, wipes, bottles and onesies
- Volunteer your time – we’re looking for volunteers to man the donation drive, sort and pack baby shower gifts, deliver gifts to our partner agency distribution and attend a baby shower for parents-to-be at Volunteers of America
Sign up for as many volunteer opportunities as you’d like! We're also seeking monetary donations to purchase new baby items. Click here to donate

United Way needs volunteers for its ReadUP tutoring program. Can you spare one hour a week to help 3rd graders catch up to their classmates?
