2022-2023 Annual Report

Dear United Way supporter,

I recently celebrated my first anniversary as president and CEO of United Way of Central Indiana.

What a year it has been!

I first felt a bit like Coach Norman Dale in the film “Hoosiers,” when he arrived at the team’s practice, grabbed a basketball and a whistle, and wondered out loud, “what hand have I been dealt?”

A year later, I know exactly how to answer that question. Nothing makes me prouder than the team of staff, board members, community organizations, companies, donors, volunteers, and advocates who have a passion for this community and a driven purpose to win on behalf of those who need us the most.

Today, we published our 2022-2023 Community Impact Report. Please take some time to immerse yourself in our impactful highlight reel and know how truly grateful I am for your support of United Way. Your generosity sets us up for the win for all our Central Indiana neighbors.

Sincerely,
Fred Payne
United Way of Central Indiana, President and CEO
